NY Students Answer the Call to Provide Ambulance Service

High school students in Sackets Harbor have stepped forward to ensure their community can continue to provide ambulance services.

Students from Sackets Harbor High School have stepped forward to help fill staffing gaps created by COVID-19 so their community can continue have its ambulance service.

Like most rural towns, Sackets Harbor has been struggling to provide emergency services due to membership decline amid the pandemic.

A group of high school students decided to obtain the required EMT training and jumped in to assist the town in providing the critical service.
