The driver of a Jeep that crashed into an ambulance in Lakewood on Sunday has been charged.
Two West Metro Fire Rescue personnel and two occupants of the SUV were injured, CBS Colorado reported.
The crew, returning from a call, were released after treatment.
Lakewood Police said officers tried to question people who were in a Jeep that was reported stolen on Sunday night. But, they sped off.
There was no pursuit. But, shortly afterwards, that Jeep crashed into the ambulance flipping it onto its side.
Police didn't say if the Jeep occupants will face charges for vehicle theft. However, Armando Casillas, the driver, was cited for the wreck.
