EMTs administered CPR after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest during the Monday Night Football game.

Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin is in critical condition after collapsing on the field during Monday night's game against the Bengals.

CBS News special correspondent and "The NFL Today" host James Brown joined "CBS Mornings" to discuss.

Hamlin made a tackle, stood up and then collapsed.

Medical personnel rushed to the field and performed CPR.

The players formed a human wall around Hamlin, many openly sobbing, others taking a knee to pray.

EMTs got Hamlin's heart started again and put him on oxygen.

Hamlin was rushed to nearby Cincinnati University Medical Center in critical condition.

At first, the league officials told the players they could have a five-minute warm-up before resuming play.

Both teams agreed that the game should not continue.
