Watch: Moment of Impact Between Small Plane, Helicopter in Carlisle, PA
A new video captured the deadly collision between a small plane and a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter.
The pilot of the Cessna 150, Paul Sokoloski, 57, of Hershey, was killed and injured two troopers, Cpl. Bryce Corman and Tpr. Jason Mills, both of whom have been released, WGAL reported.
The troopers were training when the Bell 407 helicopter was struck from the rear. The plane broke into pieces after hitting the ground, while the chopper lost its rotors and tail boom before rolling onto its side and partially onto its roof.
