This 2001 Chevrolet 4x4 Quad-cab is equipped with the new 8.1 liter Chev Vortec engine. An all aluminum utility box was designed and mounted by Alum-line of Cresco, Iowa. A 275 gallon water tank was installed with a 300 gpm slide in pump for quick response to brush, trash or automobile fires. In addition to a full compliment of hand tools for brush fires, it carries a "Foam-Pro" class A foam unit and a reserve of foam concentrate. The quad cab feature allows up to four firefighters to respond with this unit without cramping into the much smaller cab.
