Indiana Fire Leaves Dozens Homeless

The cause is under investigation.

ANDERSON, Ind. --

Nearly 40 people were left without homes Sunday when a fire ripped through an apartment complex.

Flames were seen shooting from the roof of the Hoosier Woods apartments at about 5 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters said 16 apartments were evacuated.

Everyone made it out safely, but dozens of families were displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The American Red Cross is assisting the affected families.
