Another received burns on his fingers

Two firefighters are injured after battling an early-morning house fire in La Jolla, 10News reported.

The fire started at about 5 a.m. Monday at a home near Newkirk and Havenhurst.

Firefighters said it looks as if the fire started on the roof.

Part of the roof fell in, hitting a firefighter on the foot and another firefighter received burns on his fingers.

No one was home at the time.
