The fire truck involved in a crash that claimed the life of a firefighter last year had brake problems, according to an inspection report.
Calera firefighter Chris Roy died when the truck he was driving collided with an 18-wheeler.
The crash is the subject of a $12 million lawsuit brought by Roy's mother, which alleges the 18-wheeler and a dump truck failed to yield the right of way to Roy's truck.
