A devastating fire swept through a Daytona Beach business Monday morning.
The fire broke out at the Top of the Avenue sporting goods store on Bethune Boulevard around six o'clock Monday morning.
The flames and smoke were intense when firefighters arrived.
People living in nearby apartments had to be evacuated.
The building was destroyed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
