North Carolina Firefighter Faces Drug Charges

GREENSBORO, N.C. --

A Greensboro firefighter has been suspended with pay after being arrested for trafficking and possession of cocaine.

Archdale police said Jamie Blunder was arrested Monday for possession of cocaine with intent to sell and trafficking. Officers said Blunder had almost six ounces of cocaine and $9,400 in his possession at the time of the arrest.

Blunder was released on a $50,000 bond and was suspended from Fire Station No. 53 on Willow Road in Greensboro.

The Greensboro Fire Department has scheduled a news conference for 3 p.m.
