Anthony Tiscione, 58, of Snug Harbor has been charged with embezzling about $175,000 from two firefighter organizations, the Rhode Island State Firemen's League and the Snug Harbor Volunteer Fire Company.
Tiscione was treasurer of both organizations. He has been released on recognizance after an arraignment.
