March 30, 2006
A woman died, and a man was burned.

Investigators in Gastonia believe a kerosene spill may have caused a house to catch on fire Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the house located on Ware Avenue after 8PM last night.

One woman died while a man suffered burns.

A preliminary investigation show kerosene may have spilled and ignited when it reached a heating source inside the house.
