An early-morning house fire in Catonsville seriously injured four people Friday.
Firefighters responded to the unit block of Glenwood Avenue just after 1 a.m. to a fire that totally destroyed the two-story home. Total damage is estimated at $120,000.
Earlier reports indicated that the fire injured five people, but Baltimore County fire officials confirmed to 11 News late Friday morning that four people were injured, including a boy, two men and a female.
Paramedics transported the victims, who were not identified, to the Bayview Burn Center. Their conditions were unknown.
WBAL-TV 11 News reported it took two hours for crews to contain the blaze. Baltimore County fire officials told 11 News that investigators deem an unattended fireplace as the cause of the blaze.
