ANDERSON, S.C. --

Fire destroyed a half-million-dollar home in Anderson County on Sunday afternoon.

The three-story home in the Cobbs Glen Country Club subdivision was gutted by what firefighters called a fast-moving blaze.

Investigators said three homes in the Cobbs Glen neighborhood have burned in the past few years and that there had been a previous fire at the home that burned on Sunday.

Broadway Fire Department chief Curtis Rice said that the fire spread rapidly through all three floors of the home.

Investigators are looking through the wreckage of the home to try and determine the cause of the fire.
