Fire Engulfs Chicago Apartment

A fire ripped through a near north side apartment building early Saturday.

Windows were blown out from the force of the blaze that happened at about 4:15 a.m. at 838 West Aldine Ave.

The fire engulfed the four-story building, NBC5 reported.

Firefighters were able to get all the residents out of the building safely.

There were unconfirmed reports early Saturday morning that a firefighter may have been hospitalized, NBC5 reported.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation early Saturday.
