Husband of Missing Fla. Firefighter Begs for Tips

The husband of a missing Central Florida firefighter talked only to Channel 9. Former Osceola County Fire Chief Jeffrey Hall begged for his wife's safe return Wednesday.

Mr. Hall was very emotional. It has been nearly a week since he last saw his wife and the mother of his children. He said he wants more than anything to know where she is.

"I'm begging. Somebody has to know something. They need to contact the authorities and let them know where she's at. We beg you. Your children need you. We really need you," Jeffery Hall said.

For Jeffrey Hall, the last week has been unbearable. His wife, 32-year-old Brandy, disappeared the night before he was sentenced for a pot growing operation. Her husband told police she never came home from the Malabar Fire Department.

"Me, my family and friends have had no sleep," he said. "Nobody knows [where she is] and just not knowing is so painful."

For the first four days of the search for Brandy, Jeffrey was locked up in the Osceola County jail. His attorneys were able to get him out on bond while he appeals the drug conviction.

Now, Jeffrey said, their two young children are begging for answers.

"I have to explain to my kids every time I'm around them. They want to know where their mommy is," he said.

The former Osceola County fire chief was unable to say much more, for fear it would taint the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile in Palm Bay, police all but drained the lake where Brandy Hall's truck was found. Police confirmed they found blood inside. But, as one police officer put it, since she has not been found, there is still a chance she is alive somewhere.

Brandy Gall's friends and family are planning a vigil for her Thursday afternoon at 4pm at the Malabar Community Park.
