July 13, 2006
They were treated for smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion.

An overnight fire damaged a Dry Ridge home and sent four firefighters to a local hospital.

The fire started just after 1 a.m. at a home on North Main Street. Fire officials said a faulty light fixture apparently sparked a fire among some linen and sheets in a laundry room.

Four firefighters were hospitalized briefly for smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion. All have been released.

Firefighters from three departments were at the scene for more than three hours.

The four people living in the home escaped safely.
