WOOSTER, Ohio --
A Wooster couple was charged with child endangering following a March fire that sent their three kids to the hospital, NewsChannel5 reported.
Authorities said a child playing with a lighter started the blaze.
Officials also said they discovered a chain and lock on the outside of the bedroom door and the room's windows sealed shut.
The parents, Daniel and Julie Hatten, face up to three years in prison.
The three children, Daniel, 7, Joshua, 6, and Tamika, 5, survived, but one remains in Akron Children Hospital's burn unit.
