Six Injured in Chicago School Bus Crash

Four children and two adults were hospitalized.

Four children and two adults were hospitalized when a school bus and a vehicle collided in the Northwest Side's Portage Park neighborhood Thursday morning.

The accident happened about 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of Irving Park Road and Long Avenue, according to police news affairs Officer Laura Kubiak.

Four children were taken to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center with minor injuries, according to fire media affairs spokesman Rich Rosado. Two adults were also taken to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center in fair to serious condition.

Jefferson Park District police are investigating.
