Over the weekend, 100 ball python snakes were lost in a house fire.
According to Brandon Repovz, of Hempfield Township, the snakes were worth $30,000.
He was raising the pythons in his father's home when the blaze broke out.
Investigators said that the fire appears to be electrical, possibly starting in heating equipment used to keep the snakes warm.
Repovz's father, Robert, was treated for smoke inhalation.
No other injuries were reported.
