Incendiary Device Found at Ohio Scene

The fire was contained to one room.

DAYTON, Ohio --

Firefighters in Dayton were called to a house fire overnight and made a surprising discovery.

Fire officials said firefighters found smoke coming from a home in the 1700 block of John Glenn Road around 5 a.m.

Officials said firefighters found a makeshift bomb device in the front yard of the house. The fire was contained to one room in the house.

Investigators said one woman was home at the time of the fire, but managed to escape safely.
