LITCHFIELD, CT -- Suspended Thomaston volunteer firefighter David Morgan, 35, of 1739 Watertown Road, Thomaston, pleaded no contest in Litchfield Superior Court Tuesday, Feb. 15 to second-degree sexual assault. His plea agreement to avoid trial includes four-and-a-half years in jail, but he has the right to argue for less at his sentencing scheduled April 29.

Morgan allegedly had sexual contact with a 15-year-old minor involved in Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department's Fire Explorer program for which he was an adviser.
