SPRINGFIELD, Va. (AP) -- A Fairfax County firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a three-story town house blaze early Tuesday morning.
The fire started before 3:30 a.m. in the 8,000 block of Edinburg Drive.
A firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, said Lt. Raul Castillo of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
Flames quickly spread and gutted the home. More than 50 people responded to the two-alarm blaze.
The fire caused $400,000 in damages and displaced a family of four.
The blaze is not considered suspicious, Castillo said.
