Indianapolis) - Advisory panel looking into Mayor Bart Peterson's plan to reform local government will be considering input they received from the public.

The plan that involves combining the Indianapolis Fire Department with eight township fire departments was the main topic at Wednesday's public hearing.

Some firefighters are against the plan, saying it will leave many areas of Indianapolis with little protection.
