Watchung, New Jersey Firefighters To Get Upgraded Radios

WATCHUNG -- The Watchung Fire Department will be receiving an upgraded communications system.

The Borough Council introduced an ordinance Thursday that allocates funding to purchase a new repeater system, radios for the Office of Emergency Management and new computers for the construction department. The ordinance, if adopted, would allocate a total of $38,000 for the new equipment.
