Fatal Alpha, New Jersey Blaze, Deemed Accidental, Broke Out In Kitchen

An apartment fire that killed three children in their Alpha home Thursday morning started in the kitchen and has been ruled an accident, Warren County Prosecutor Thomas Scott Ferguson said yesterday.

The exact origin of the blaze is unknown, said Ferguson, because the structural damage to the three-story dwelling was so severe.

Two surviving victims of the fire, Jack R. Crincoli, 29, and his 4-month-old son, Nicholas, remained in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania yesterday.
