Two people were displaced early Sunday morning when a fire destroyed their mobile home west of Boynton Beach.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out at 5:30 a.m. in the Jamaica Bay Mobile Home Park off Gateway Boulevard. American Red Cross officials were on hand to assist the home's residents with lodging and clothes.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue officials said the fire started in the air conditioning unit. Damage was estimated at $50,000.
