LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. - Saturday's fire that heavily damaged the McCaffrey's Supermarket in the Edgewood Village Shopping Center here was not set intentionally, investigators have determined.

The cause of the fire, which began in some shrubbery alongside the building, was human error - possibly a discarded cigarette or match - but the exact ignition source may never be known, authorities said.

"It was definitely human error of some sort," said Yardley-Makefield Fire Marshal Richard Worrell.
