Baltimore Commerates 100th Anniversary of the Great Baltimore Fire

The Baltimore City Fire Department will help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The Great Baltimore Fire with a commemoration ceremony.
The Baltimore City Fire Department will help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The Great Baltimore Fire this Saturday, Feb. 7th, with a commemoration ceremony that will feature a display of fire apparatus, activities to simulate the dispatch of fire companies to the Great Fire, and the unveiling of a plaque to mark where the fire began. A procession of fire apparatus will travel through the downtown area past City Hall, old Fire Department Headquarters, the Firefighters Monument at Gay and Lexington Streets and conclude at the Baltimore City Fire Museum.
