Former South City Mayor, S.F. Fire Chief Dies At 76

He served in the San Francisco Fire Department in Hunter's Point before joining the South San Francisco Fire Department in 1951. Moving up the ranks, he was promoted to fire chief in 1980 and retired in 1984.
