Box Truck Trailer Used As Dwelling Burns in Conn.

Fire officials called to a fire on Buck Street early Thursday discovered that a box truck trailer was intentionally set ablaze.

Jan. 12--PUTNAM -- Fire officials called to a fire on Buck Street early Thursday discovered that a box truck trailer was intentionally set ablaze, a fire official said.

They also discovered that people were living in another trailer nearby, said Fire Marshal Normand Perron.

The fire was reported at 4:06 a.m. The occupied box truck was evacuated, he said.

Putnam police and the Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the incident.
