Jan. 20--Scott High School's reopening has been delayed a week because the school did not pass a fire inspection, according to Toledo Public Schools.
The newly renovated high school was supposed to reopen for classes Monday, but will now open on Jan. 30. School, city, and fire officials are set to discuss the delay at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning at the Board of Education building on Manhattan Boulevard.
This is not the first delay of the reopening of Scott, as construction teams discovered weak water pressure on the third floor of the building. Students will continue to attend the former DeVilbiss High School next week, where they've taken classes the past two years.
