The fire department's attorney believes fraud was involved in the repossession of four pumpers.

A lawsuit has been filed by the Warfield Volunteer Fire & Rescue to have their repossessed fire apparatus returned.

Four pumpers were repossessed in May, leaving the community without any fire protection and they are seeking monetary damages as well.

The suit was been filed against AA Repo East, LLC and First Government Lease Co., according to local television station WYMT.

The fire department's attorney, Chris Harris, believes fraud was involved.
