Two firefighters were injured Sunday when a fire apparatus rolled over near Sheridan Lake.
The Kiowa County firefighters were wearing seat belts when the converted 1980 Chevrolet pickup rolled over on Highway 96.
Elizabeth Moore, 24, was ejected and she sustained serious injuries, according to Fox21News.com. Matthew Biszak, the 26-year-old driver, sustained minor injuries.
The firefighters were responding to a crash on the interstate involving two tractor trailers when the apparatus left the road.
The Colorado State Patrol told TThe Prowers Journal that the rig left the road, rolled one time and landed on its wheels.
State patrol is trying to determine the cause of the crash.
