Apparatus Architects: Roundup of New Rigs, Innovations at FDIC
Apparatus Architects Tom Shand and Michael Wilbur focus on the new fire apparatus and innovations found on the exhibit floor at FDIC.
The two take listeners on a virtual working tour of the floor and go booth-by-booth to detail the latest apparatus models, updates and innovations found at this event. The Apparatus Architects share their favorite sights and talk about the major impact on firefighter safety and response safety.
They discuss the recent court decision that a Connecticut widow was not allowed to sue firefighters involved in a fire truck versus fire truck collsion. Also learn more about the Texas firefighter's who were suspended for not wearing a seatbelt after their rig was involved in a crash.
