CHICAGO, IL – Emergency medical products provider DHS Technologies LLC will be displaying a 107 square foot mobile command post that is currently in use with emergency responders across the Midwest at Fire-Rescue International (FRI) 2010. The expo will be taking place on August 27-28, 2010 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The Reeves Incident Command Post (ICP) Trailer is a unique trailer and shelter combination that allows first responders to bring operations directly to the incident scene. Available in models ranging in size from 107 to 214 square feet and featuring a customizable console that can be used to store everything from communications equipment to medical supplies, the ICP is versatile enough to be configured for various applications needed by today’s firefighter, including as a command and control center, point of distribution or rehabilitation station.
Featuring a lightweight design, the ICP can easily be towed behind most vehicles, allowing for travel off road. The Reeves ICP shelter design, which has been tested to withstand gusts of wind up to 65 mph, as well as free falling and blowing rain without intrusion of water, uses the same materials as DHS Technologies’ Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) system that has been used extensively by the military for more than 20 years.
Growing in popularity among emergency response agencies across the Midwest, the ICP is currently in use with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio as well the Marion and Hamilton County Health Departments in Indiana.
The ICP will be on display at Booth 3457 during the expo.
