Round 36 AFG Awards Announced

On Friday, $2 million in Assistance to Firefighter Grants (AFG) were awarded to two fire departments throughout the United States.

This was the thirty-fifth round of FY '07 grants awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The goal of the AFG program is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and non-affiliated emergency medical services organizations.
