A small fire department in Arkansas is preparing to say goodbye to one of their own.
Poyen Fire Capt. Dennis Channell, 55, suffered a stroke while on a medical call Sunday night, the department announced on its Facebook page.
Officials wrote: "It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of a Line of Duty Death...Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers..."
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at the funeral home.. Interment will be at Prairie Bayou Cemetery.
Fellow firefighters will be honorary pallbearers
