An on-duty Jefferson Township firefighter died in the fire station Tuesday.
Tommy Rees, 38, passed away in his sleep while on duty Tuesday.
Rees experienced some type of cardiac event, a fire department spokesperson told WBNS 10TV.
Rees served with the Jefferson Township Fire Department for over six years and leaves behind a wife and four children.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist his family.
