Veteran Carbon County, MT, EMS Provider Dies of Ambulance Crash Injuries

Everett Edwards, 84, was driving the Clarks Fork Valley EMS ambulance when the crash occurred.

A veteran EMS provider died Tuesday of injuries sustained earlier this month in an ambulance collision.

Everett Edwards, 84, who was driving the ambulance, had been involved with Clarks Fork Valley for more than 40 years, KTVQ reported. 

The ambulance that was headed to an emergency was struck by a pickup truck as it was turning left, troopers reported adding that Edwards was trapped in the overturned ambulance.

The truck driver also was hurt in the crash.
