The Shaler community is mourning the loss of a fire police officer who collapsed at a car show Sunday night.
A Shaler Hampton EMS crew responded to care for George Mullins Jr, 66, after witnessing him collapse.
Despite their immediate treatment, Mullins could not be reivived, according to a statement from Shaler Villa Volunteer Fire Company.
Mullins had served with the department for 30 years.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
