A wall collapsed as firefighters battled a Cohoes apartment building fire March 12.

Six departments responded as fire engulfed the three-story building.

The D-wall collapsed while firefighters were using a defensive attack on the structure. 

Close to two dozen residents were left homeless by the fire.
