Elkhart Brass Advances to Final Round of Tournament
With their XD Glow-in-the-Dark Smooth Bore Nozzle, Elkhart Brass has made it to the final round of the 2025 Coolest Thing Made IN Indiana competition.
The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is hosting a statewide competition that uses a fan-voted, single-elimination bracket to showcase innovative items made in Indiana.
The XD Glow-in-the-Dark Smooth Bore Nozzle, manufactured in Elkhart, is built to endure intense heat, impact, and stress on the fireground. Its built-in glow-in-the-dark features improve safety when seconds count by assisting firemen in rapidly locating and orienting vital equipment in low visibility situations.
“This recognition reflects both our commitment to innovation and the skilled workforce here in Elkhart County,” said Chris Martin, Vice President of Marketing for Elkhart Brass.
The winner will be revealed at the Indiana Chamber's Best in Business Awards Luncheon after public voting concludes on Jan. 15.
Elkhart Brass was established in 1902 and produces over 2,000 firefighting and fire protection items that are utilized by industrial responders and fire departments throughout and internationally.
