Surrey, BC, Firefighters Battle Three-Alarm Fire
Surrey firefighters battled a three-alarm fire in a commercial building.
"One patient suffered significant burns and was taken to the hospital by ambulance," said Assistant Deputy Chief of Operations Rich Bodnark told CBC.
Bodnark added that many of the businesses were closed due to Good Friday.
Firefighters were on the scene for several hours before controlling the blaze.
The cause is under investigation.
