Watch: D.C. Firefighters Battling Mansion Fire that Rekindled

Firefighters operating at the two-alarm fire were evacuated from the three-story house in northwest D.C.

D.C. firefighters returned to a mansion fire early Tuesday after a rekindle.

Crews were evacuated when conditions deteroriated and engaged in an exterior attack, WJLA reported.

Firefighters had been at the unoccupied house Monday evening for a fire, they believed was extinguished.

The operation is continuing with aerial apparatus in use.
