FDNY Crews Handle Fire in Hilton Hotel

The fire broke out in the mechanical room in the basement of the Manhattan hotel.

The cause of a fire in a mechanical room of a Hilton in downtown New York City is under investgation.

More than 100 FDNY firefighters were involved in the operation for more than an hour, abc 7 reported. 

There were no injuries in the fire that caused traffic woes during rush hour.
