A Houston firefighter was injured battling an apartment building fire early Wednesday.

Crews found fire on the roof on one L-shaped section of the building. Later, it collapsed.

Firefighters are hitting hotspots at dawn, and planned to remain at the scene while investigators delve into the cause, KHOU reported.

It was the second fire at the complex in the last two weeks, a resident said.
