Firefighters in Moraine modified operations while battling a massive fire at the Fuyao Glass America plant.

Lightning forced crews to suspend aerial operations as they fought the fire that started on the roof of a new building in the complex, Moraine Fire Marshal Doug Hatcher told The Dayton Daily News.

Workers evacuated without injuries.

Hatcher said the wind was about 40 mph while firefighters were engaged in the operation. Flames were visible for miles.

The cause remains under investigation.
