San Francisco Firefighter Injured in 3-Alarm Residential Blaze

San Francisco Fire Department crews battled a fire that erupted in the garage of a Noe Valley house, damaging four homes and displacing six people.

A San Francisco firefighter was injured during a three-alarm blaze that erupted in a garage and damaged four homes early Wednesday.

The fire broke out at about 2 a.m. at a house in the city's Noe Valley neighborhood, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. A PG&E crew was needed to handle a live electrical wire creating a hazard, and firefighters were able to control the blaze by 3:30 a.m., KRON-TV reports.

Six people were displaced by the fire. The blaze is under investigation, the department added.
