CA Department Shares Helmet Cam Footage

The Sacramento Fire Department released a brief but intense helmet cam video from a fast-moving fatal fire at a fourplex last Sunday.

The Sacramento Fire Department shared via social media a brief but intense helmet cam video that was filmed while crews were responding to a fatal fourplex fire.

According to the Sacramento Bee, firefighters were called to the scene at around 4:45 am last Sunday and found that flames that had begun in one of the units and spread throughout the structure and into the attic space. A man in his 50s was found deceased as crews worked to extinguish the fire.

The footage contains no audio, but you can see the intensity of the flames overtaking one side of the home as firefighters use handlines to try and slow the spread.
